What Information Do We Collect?
Pivotal Research Parking Locator mobile applications (such as 'Park Mosman') can be browsed anonymously without signing up.
During startup, both the Android and iOS applications will request access to your location in order to display your current location within the mobile applications. Pivotal Research Pty Ltd will never collect, store or forward your location data to any third party, including Mosman Council.
During usage, both the Android and iOS applications might request permission to send you local notifications within the mobile applications. These notifications are purely used for reminders of parking expiry, and will not be used for any other purpose.
During application usage, user behaviour information related to device type and OS version might be collected, along with any error reports. This information is anonymously collected to ensure privacy and no means of identifying specific end-users.
Why Do We Collect This Information?
The primary reason for collecting user device/OS information is to improve the service provided to you to ensure that all mobile types are catered for by this application. Error reports are used to identify and fix bugs for future releases to improve the quality of service.
Holding and Sharing of Information
Pivotal Research Pty Ltd stores no information from the mobile applications. We will never disclose mobile application usage information to any third party other than Mosman Council, who holds reporting information for internal use only.
Any access to customer support may require submission of personally identifiable information (such as an email address), however this information will be only used in order to resolve and respond to feedback requests.
